Dr Alex Braczkowski - Founder

Alex has been studying and filming big cats for over 15 years. His films have appeared on National Geographic and Disney +, and his publications in the prestigious journals Science and Nature. A core focus of Alex’ work has been to develop cutting edge monitoring techniques for African lions, leopards, and spotted hyenas in South Africa, Uganda, and Sri Lanka. Trail cameras have been a central tool in his work to count these species and during his recent postdoctoral work in China, Alex worked with engineers to test, tweak and market a fully solar powered camera that would deliver high quality video and imagery to scientists, wildlife enthusiasts, and hunters worldwide.

His brand SOLARIS TRAIL CAMERAS aims to deliver three key benefits: 1) affordable price (especially when monitoring wildlife at large scales), 2) boost environmental sustainability, and 3) capture wildlife imagery in 4K definition. The WEAPON 4K PLUS delivers all of these aims.
